Angel: To start with, could you give us some background information – Where do you come from? How old are you? Where do you find your dose of inspiration? What motivates you?Rob: I’m Rob Rammuny, 16 year old blogger and Internet marketer. I am known for living the Internet Lifestyle, and now I’m becoming widely known for the founder behind The Entrepreneurs Project.
Thousands of things motivates me, I can probably find a way to use every aspect of my life to motivate me. But, here are a couple things: I never want to go back to a J.O.B lifestyle and I want to always be financially stable. Those two alone, motivate me to work harder than I have before.
Angel: When and why did you come to the idea of starting your own blog?
Rob: Robswebtips was founded in February 2009 after I decided I wanted to teach others how the right way to make money. At the start of Robswebtips, I wasn’t actually making money, but I wanted to provide my journey and watch my readers grow as I do. Few months down the line, I started generating an income online and finally a full-time income online.
Angel: What makes your blog better than others?
Rob: I’d say because my blog and community is genuine. I always keep it 100% honest with my readers and they do the same with me. I go out my way to deliver the best content I can and serve them the best information as possible.
Another thing that sets my blog aside is, I engage with my community and they engage with others. I try and reply to all comments on my newest posts, and I am good at responding to every email I get personally. Also, I’m happy to say my blog is an actual community where other readers comment on eachother’s comments and get engaged. It’s a wonderful thing that I don’t see many blogs have.
Angel: Has age in any way helped/prevented you from achieving your goals?
Rob: Age has it’s pro’s and cons. I’m 16, I don’t have much to lose if I make a mistake on my business (financial wise). $500/month keeps me living and I’m fine. Because of that, I’m less harder on myself sometimes to getting things done perfectly because of my age.
Age has also helped me because I know if I can get noticed at a young age for doing wonderful things, that’s more attention and reputation built my way – So, I’m motivated to work harder.
Angel: Aside from the satisfaction you receive from writing and helping other people, do you gain anything else from your blog, what are the profit margins a beginner may expect if he is good enough?
Rob: I get the satisfaction of knowing I have a community who I can call my family. I get the satisfaction that I can say I’m living the lifestyle’s many dream of, and yet I’m only 16.
Unlike the traditional jobs where you can put profit margin on things, this is not true with blogging. Your income is unlimited and you control how much you want to make depending on the amount of work and effort you put in.
A “full-time income” online is considered to be $3,000/month, so if we put that into perspective, I would have to guess the average blogger would make $36,000/year online. To me, that’s a very low amount and I’d reckon if you could make $36,000 in a year you can make a $70-80,000 per year just as easy. Because, as you grow so will your income.
Angel: What are your future plans for developing?
Rob: Continue to do what I’m doing now. Hustle everyday, engage with my community and strive to provide better content on each and every article I publish.
Angel: And last but not least, what is your definition of success?
Rob: Probably the ability to say you accomplished something you didn’t think you could accomplish.
For example: Success is not walking up a flight of stairs and you knew you could do it with no effort anyways.
Success is achieving something you feared would not be possible, but you did it anyways.
Angel: Thank you, Rob. We really appreciate your contribution to BoomPedia.
